All participants must be Indonesian citizens with a valid identity document (KTP / SIM / Paspor / Kartu Pelajar). Junior CTF is restricted to SMA/SMK-level students; General CTF and Hackathon are open to all. WRECK-IT 7.0 organizing committee members and CTF Juara I winners from WRECK-IT 6.0 are not eligible to compete.
Registration is open from 1 May to 29 June 2026 via the official site wreckit.id. The team leader fills in member details, uploads the combined registration archive, and receives an email verification within 1×24 hours. Once verified, team data and member composition cannot be changed.
CTF (General and Junior): 1–3 members per team. Hackathon: 3–5 members per team. A person may only be registered to one team, and verified members cannot be swapped out during the competition.
Qualifiers are online Jeopardy-style on 20 June 2026 (~8 hours). The scoreboard freezes one hour before close and write-ups are due 14:30 the next day. Top teams from both General and Junior tracks advance to the on-site Attack/Defense final at Pusbang BSSN Sawangan (~6 hours).
Submit a proposal (PDF, A4, Times New Roman 12pt, 1.5 spacing, 10–20 pages), explainer video, and GitHub repository by 29 June 2026. Subthemes: Autonomous AI Defense, Critical Infrastructure & IoT Resilience, and Cognitive Defense vs. Disinformation. The top 5 teams get 3 hours on-site to finalize the application, then 3 hours of presentations.
CTF total prize pool is IDR 21.000.000. Hackathon total prize pool is IDR 13.250.000. Medals, certificates, and merchandise included for podium finishers.
DDoS against servers, disrupting other participants or the committee, sharing accounts or flags, collaborating with non-registered parties, or any cheating. Violations result in disqualification and revocation of awards. CTF and Hackathon finalists must attend the seminar and awarding session — no-shows are disqualified.
