01 // Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service govern your participation in Wreck-IT 7.0 — Cyber Warfare: Silent War on The Fifth Domain — organized by Senat Korps Taruna Poltek SSN and hosted at wreckit.id.

By registering for, accessing, or participating in Wreck-IT 7.0, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not register or participate.

02 // Eligibility

Participation is open to the following, subject to category-specific rules:

  • Active students of any educational institution (high school, vocational, undergraduate, postgraduate)
  • Working professionals in the cybersecurity or technology field
  • Teams must consist of 1–4 members per registered entry
  • Each individual may only register once and belong to one team
  • Participants must be at least 13 years of age

Organizers and committee members directly involved in challenge creation are not eligible to compete.

03 // Registration & Accounts

When registering for Wreck-IT 7.0, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, truthful, and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Not share your account or allow others to access your team's account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to disqualify or remove accounts found to contain false information or to be operated in bad faith.

04 // Competition Rules

⚠ MANDATORY

Violation of competition rules will result in immediate disqualification.

All participants must abide by the following competition rules:

  • Do not attack, disrupt, or interfere with competition infrastructure, other teams' systems, or any external systems
  • Do not share flags, solutions, or hints with other teams during the competition window
  • Do not use automated mass-scanning tools against the competition platform
  • Only submit flags that your team has legitimately obtained through solving challenges
  • Do not exploit vulnerabilities in the CTF platform itself — report them to admins instead
  • Do not communicate with the organizers to obtain flags, hints, or advantages
  • Comply with all additional rules published in the official competition briefing

05 // Fair Play & Conduct

All participants are expected to maintain a professional and respectful environment:

  • Treat all participants, organizers, volunteers, and sponsors with respect
  • Do not engage in harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior of any kind
  • Do not make false accusations against other participants
  • Do not attempt to gain advantages through bribery, coercion, or social engineering of organizers
  • Follow all instructions issued by competition admins and moderators

Decisions made by competition admins regarding conduct violations are final.

06 // Disqualification

Wreck-IT 7.0 organizers reserve the right to disqualify any team or individual for the following reasons:

  • Violation of any competition rule listed in Section 04
  • Cheating, flag sharing, or collusion with other teams
  • Harassment or misconduct toward any participant or organizer
  • Providing false registration information
  • Any action deemed to compromise the integrity of the competition

Disqualified teams forfeit all prizes, rankings, and recognition. Disqualification decisions are final and not subject to appeal.

07 // Intellectual Property

All competition challenges, content, and materials created for Wreck-IT 7.0 remain the intellectual property of Senat Korps Taruna Poltek SSN and the respective challenge authors.

  • Participants must not publish, share, or distribute challenge content or solutions during the active competition window
  • Write-ups and solution walkthroughs may only be published after the official end of the competition
  • Any write-up must credit Wreck-IT 7.0 as the source of the challenge
  • Participants retain ownership of any tools or code they independently develop for solving challenges

08 // Limitation of Liability

Wreck-IT 7.0 is provided on an "as-is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Organizers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the competition platform
  • Technical issues, server downtime, or data loss during the event do not entitle participants to compensation
  • Organizers reserve the right to modify challenge point values, deadlines, or competition format at any time

09 // Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted at wreckit.id/terms with an updated effective date.

Continued participation in the event after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
